Ang Pow Long (1)

Never make Ang Pow Long (Red Packet) as the subject for me to blog in the past..... mmmm ... allow me not to brief you here what is Ang Pow Long because I assume you already know it..... however do ask me this question if you really have no idea what red red thing for ok !

Shops or companies will distbute Red Packet 1 or 2 months before Lunar New Year. Usually I take them than forward it to my mum or female friends. Sometime I come across very nicely design or unique packet. For this year, I began to received my first few pack of Ang Pow Long since last weeken. Jusco, Giant and Parkson mentioned a few. Most of them look ordinary so no chance to pop up here.

For this first part, I will show you 3 design which I have with me now.

Got this one thru shirt counter at supermarket because I purchased 2 new shirts.
Nothing special in design, very simple traditional design. The dimension is compact so got excuse not to put big or lot of dollars bill into it.

This one from Metrojaya Supermarket, a sure winner for me. Like the 30 something period look. Ladies with this type of look always smell high class... Classic mah... old man appreciate old fashion. My fellow colleague already grab it away (I know she would like this design so I keep it for her)

I received this very special Ang Pow during lunch time, ooop.. not Ang Pow but Kam Pow (Orange Packet) I never expect the grocery shop (Village Grocer - new outlet at Kota Damansara) that I bought toothpaste for will distribute out such a nice color packet. By the way, the Chinese characters printed is Ying Chun or Welcome The Spring. Lovely right ?

So here I end my Ang Pow posting for today.... I think i will come back to with more blah blah on next week as I have a project to collect all type of Ang Pow from local banks (they distribute to public yearly) Maybe we can have a competition to name who have the best design for year 2010 ?
