What we call this ….

Wonder how many of my friends know the term used to call this structure Sarcastic smile

Marquee

In the past, I will called it as tent…. booth…. canvas…. the sharp sharp thing etc etc

I learn a new word => Marquee as the term to describe this tent last week. Saw the word printed on a van body than looked around to find out what service the driver provide. Than saw him setup a marquee for function.

1. A large tent, often with open sides, used chiefly for outdoor entertainment.

2. A rooflike structure, often bearing a signboard, projecting over an entrance, as to a theater or hotel. Also called marquise.
