2046 - 王家卫

Let me end this year posting with a quick mention on an old movie made by Wong Kar Wei (王家卫) => 2046

When this movie was out on 2004, it was a big firm for art film lover. I know it is good and worth to follow by never watch it at the end because I know I would not be able to appreciate 王家卫 product yet. My patient and logic was not up to his standard.

KoalaLand have a TV station which played only quality movies from all over the world. I recorded 2046 back to Sep 2010 but not touch it since than until last night…..

Since the man is older and the mood is right (last few days of the year) once the film start, immediately I got absorbed by the story and flow along with the director weird ideal in express love.

Too many gorgeous actresses walked thru the set and they made the movie so much better with the present but at the end… the viewer still stay close with the story, the pain and sorrow on the story the director want to tell…. a success….

In this movie, the director picked Adagio (by Secret Garden) as the main background music. He repeatedly played this sad music when the love events came to the end...

I just reliased I already have this piece of music in my mp3 list few weeks back, long before I watch 2046….. I do have a good taste,

Happy Last Day of 2011… I enjoyed every moment of this year. TQ for be with me…. 2011

The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan

The Lost Thing is a 15 minute animated short film based on the highly acclaimed picture book by multi award winning author and illustrator, Shaun Tan

Took notice of this short film because it won The Best Short Animated  Film prize of 2011 Academy Award (Oscar)

Recorded this 15mins colourful short movie since 2 mths ago but never watch it till 2 days ago and I never have the feeling of time wasted.

Though I not able the absorb the total message of the writer but I am amazed by the interesting way of him creating a story. Love the animation, imagination on how a world could be look like and the colour of the film. It just very much different of any animation video and I like the different.

I hope most of you like it too and get your kids to watch it.

Inception

Finally I got my first cinema experience in the city. Wow..... 5 mths stay away from big screen, so unlike me.

How I grade INCEPTION ? mmmm...... just like the review, a good film but require viewer to follow up with the story closely. Once you lack from the flow, there you lost. After watching this movie, I believe I will get very sensitive with my dream.... worry people will pop into my dream and do damage to my perfect world....


Leonardo Di Caprio is the hero of the movie.... he look so much more old in this film and he tried to act good but don’t know why, I still found him like the boy in You Jump I Jump.... so bad me, never give him chance to grow up. Indeed, another fact I reliased from this movie was he and the lead lady mentioned "Jump" a few times in the show.... funny right ?
