Singtel Singapore Grand Prix (Qualifying)

When LionLand announced they going to hold road circuirt + night racing for one of the F1 stop in Asia more than 3 years ago, I already expected to see a fantastic work done by the local organizer. However, I never follow the first 2 yrs event ... mainly due to the not so interesting performanced by those racing teams during that period. Too much predictable race result and the same team will be the winner week after week. Boring !

However, year 2010 bring back to fun and exicitement of F1 again. Every weeks can see different team emerged as race winner and we could not firmly know which of the top 3 teams going to be the ultimate champion for 2010 (Ferrari , Red Bull or McLaren)

Just spent 1hr to follow the Saturday night Qualifying Round at Marine area. Another awesome starting line up for at the front line... all the 3 teams place their 4 cars at the starting grid.

Since this was my first time staring at the TV screen on SingTel Spore Grand Prix... I just can't kept my eyes away from the beautiful night scene of LionLand. The lovely white Merlion.... the new fancy new casino building... the Durian spike theater .... and I think can see Singapore Flyer (the ferrie wheel) too. Marina area always one of my favorite spot... I remember I loved to spend hours hanging around that area during younger time (ha..... so sentimental leh)

Already set my recorder time on tonight race..... time to indulge myself in old memory (for 2hrs+) and figure out who is the winner for this race... I put my bet on Alonso of Ferrari... Go Alonso....
