Collingwood = St Kilda

Saturday after 2:30pm to 5:30pm was the special moment for many Victorian…. most of them just glue their eyes to these 36 footy players from Collingwood and St Kilda wrestled out for the ultimate league champion for 2010….

Instead of lay on my bed at home watch the game, I decided to join the Victorian crowd at Federal Square and watched the entire game standing + cheering   

I think there were more than 5K people gather at these famous spot to follow the games. We were blessed with good weather thru out the game (18C)

The supporters from each team kind of separate themselves by using the middle line as border. Cheer sound stronger at right side, which was my team… Collingwood BUT turned louder at the left side by the second half because St Kilda fight back.

The stadium that played this match located about 2km from this public viewing spot. The tickets of 100,000 seat fully sold out since long ago.

The outcome of today game was kind of unexpected by everybody.

Pie lead the scoreboard at the beginning. Both team get even at the middle part but Saint fought back strong come to last few mins and the supporters was in very tensed point at the final few mins because both team just 1 point apart. 

The biggest surprised came at final minute when Saint scored the last ONE point which made the drawn result => 68 to 68 !   

Than whistle blown…. so i thought ok lar… now have to stand for another 20 or 30mins…. something like extra time to decide the ultimate winner.

SORRY lor… no such rule… GAME OVER for now ! The crowd started to dispense. Confuse time, turned to my left and asked the guy =>  How ah ? 2010 end with 2 champion ?

His answer was something I never expected => No… They will come back next week to replay all over again. Hopefully this time we able to pick a winner ! 

Wow ! Steady lar Koala special rule…. more fun next week…. I am sure will be out there cheering my team… GO PIE !!
