Going Banana

Today I want to talk about Banana Am I running out of subject to blog till have to blog on Banana ?    Don’t worry, I still have lot of idea to blog and I believe you will enjoy reading this short story of KoalaLand Banana.

First, I show you below picture… the fresh banana I bought at market this morning.

Make a guess ! Which one you think common in the market and which one will cost almost double ? You will get ONE fresh banana if you make the right guess !

Answer : the bigger and longer bunch cost AUD 2.50/kg 

The one on the right called Lady Finger. It cost AUD 3.50/kg. The shape of the skin kind of special, it got corner shape around the banana. My colleague told me I should try this species as they promise it taste better than normal type. (I have not eat any yet. Usually I had my banana during tea-break)

Next, come Banana with RED tip. I saw this type of banana since long ago but never paid for it until last week. mmmmm… it cost slightly higher than normal banana

I can peeled off the red was marking easily and can confirm the banana do not have this wax when on the tree. Most of the people don’t know why the farmer did the marking (I did the asking mah ! )

I got the answer from a smarter colleague finally. He said the marking indicated this is Organic grown fruit. 

It is taste better ?  mmm… no comment…. just Banana mah !
