Vietnamese Noodle at Footscray

Today I decided to venture out from my comfort zone…. away from Melbourne city.

I randomly pick West Melbourne suburban as my destination. I skip the culture talk here… as I am still new to the country… no good to talk negative subject of the place.

Lets jump my venture into lunch… hehehe… came to Footscray (about 5-10km away from city) at lunch…. lot of Vietnamese store and restaurant in this town.

I walked into one of the food store… decided to sit down and asked the lady for Chicken Noodle…her respond was NO CHICKEN.. only BEFF… I decided not to eat there so spent another 20 mins hunting for food…. and guess what….. I end up with below noodle as my lunch.

Look nice right… YES, it is traditional Vietnamese Beef Noodle… oop… did I typed BEEF … Yes.. no mistake…. but the problem here is this shop do server Chicken Noodle… however the strange me decided to pick Beef instead for this round……

You want to know why ? When came to time to pick the meat.. I looked at price for Chicken Noodle and Beef Noodle…. ehhhh… same price leh… than better eat beef since chicken is cheap cheap mah…. kakaka… stingy me right !

The lunch taste good. Paid AUD 8 for this big bowl of noodle… yes.. BIG… like always, the vendor in Australia loved to sell EXTRA large size dish to client. At the end of my meal, I always cannot move.

Another fun experience from this visit was I had the opportunity to drink Vietnamese coffee again. I paid AUD 3 for this cup of thick but nicey coffee. It made me recalled my good time when holiday in Hanoi more than 6 mths ago…
