This is NAVIGON, a free GPS came with Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
Had this free APP installed in my phone for months but hardly use it because no confidence with the FREE condition.
However, yesterday afternoon I need to go a few places for some urgent assignment and some of the addresses were not familiar, so decided to give Navigon a try. Have this crazy awesome feeling after my first attempt because it work as good as the expensive Garmin GPS.
The map direction were accurate. Voice function no problem. The best part was no internet connection require when use the GPS.
To those who have interest to try out this application, pleased be advise that the company only give away free map for Australia & New Zealand. Others country… BUY !
Also, the GPS receiver very sensitive and it need direct open sky to get the signal (this was one of the reason why it fail me in my early day because I do my testing under the roof)
Lastly, the battery drain fast when GPS is in use.
