Rainier Cherries

It is the Cherry season now at KoalaLand. I had try out the standard cherry (just dark red in colour) since 2 weeks ago. The price are good and the fruits are fresh also sweet.

Than yesterday afternoon I saw this slightly different looking cherry on supermarket shelves label as Rainier Cherries. The price are higher but curiosity made me paid for it.

Had a few bites after dinner…. mmmm….. NICEY Nicey… sweet with creamy yellow fresh. Worth my $$$

Just checked Wikipedia on Rainier Cherries, it is the premier type of cherry. Developed in US from 2 others fruits type. The pack I bought above should be local grown. Else would be much more expensive.
