This is a fresh lettuce.
Do you aware that lettuce bleed (not blood but white milk lookalike liquid) when you chop off it base ?
I discovered this phenomena few weeks back…. look strange. Today I grabbed a fresh piece from supermarket. This time I made an effort to take photo and post the bleeding lettuce in my blog.
Can see the white milk ? yeeeeeeeee

no. i nvr encounter such base on lettuce at all. sui. a little pinkish yes.
