Sichuan lunch... again !!

Sunday lunch time... don't know what happen to me... walked into another Sichuan restaurant again when seeking for food.... mmmm.....
Simply point to one of the dish in the menu and this was what I got in front of me after 10mins !


100% Sichuan dish look right ? Why ? Take a closer look at the surface of the bowl.... a thick layer of spicy chilli oil.... while I started to spoon the soup to my rice bowl....  a flash back came to my mind.... mmm... the last time somebody tried to murder me with such an extreme hot soup was happened more than 2years ago. There is this very HOT housewive at Taipan specially prepared a home cook Shuan Choy and invited me to her place for dinner. Due to high ego, I had to tahan (endure) the meal and told her.. okay lar... so so hot lar.... No need me to tell you how much I suffer the next day when I answer my international call ...

This time around, I also had to act tough by consumed as much as possible because paid $$$
Lucky the pork rib taste good and the white rice free flow... so asked for second bowl... else how to touch the soup !??
While, I will go back to this shop again and this time I make sure I bring someone whose tongue never surrender to spicy stuff....

One more thing... Chinese language lesson. I took the below picture from the display board of this Sichuan restaurant ...




































The word "Mao Chai" in the list mean => mixed dish. I guess this is the term use in Sichuan foods... what do you think ?

u tell me who love + hate me so much till willing to spend 3hrs at kitchen cooked this horrible soup to poison me... oh ya.... this morning i berak till burn there.. kakakak
