Real Winter Experience

Mt Buller is the nearest mountain to the Melbourne city which covered by snow during winter. Joined a tour agent day trip package to get up to this famous mountain today. Duration on the road to get there is 3.5hrs.

I picked today because it is the best snow fall period right now (according to weather forecast) and it was damn right. Half way up the hill already can see a huge area covered by white blanket of snow.

Took below picture because it got the temperature reading shown below the clock… it read as –1 C around noon time.

 

The photos were kind of blur because windy than. The drama king side of me expecting romantic feeling like those we see in HongKong Drama, Snowy Mountain Flying Fox where the fine fine snow flake fly around me and I look like hero…

However .. the true encounter was tiny piece of ices hit hard on my face and eyes …. ouch ! These not so friendly things came from the crystallized ice on the tree branches and when the strong wind shake the trees….. you know what happen lah

The artistic side of me love above scenery. 50% of the photos taken with this type of back ground….. i did imaging me hiding between the trees dancing and running…. just like Bollywood Ah Neh

Lucky I got my snow booth…. every time I stepped on the thick undisturbed snow surface… below deep hole will be form below my foot.

At one instant, the hole reached till my knee… I almost freak out and shout for help

Last but not least…. a photo of me enjoy my nature snow fall experience….. love my camera, automatic setting and snap but it tend to ignore my pretty face
