For almost 4 months passed and my daily in take of meat consist of :
50% Chicken
25% Pork
20% Beef
5 % Fish
Lets focus on this 5% Fish…. my source of fish meat are either from “Fish Fillet” or “Fish and Chip” I almost forget how a fish ala my mum cook taste like after so many days…..
On these very wonder night of 1 July 2010, I finally got the chance to get back to the heavenly taste of Asam Fish dish which I cooked and party alone at home (just 1 hour ago).
I took above picture when the fish still in the wok… my hand was shaking and saliva flow like no tomorrow when the sauce began to boil. When I finally sat down to enjoy the dish…. ai yo….. no need to say lor….. 100% satisfy. The chilly hotness fully fulfil my craving of spicy.
Just few days ago I screamed about how costly above piece of fish I had to pay BUT I need to take back my complain now because when I put fish into my mouth…. every single cents worth.
Oh ya… forget to tell mention that the Asam sauce is a pre pack gravy. I forget to take photo of the label but don’t worry, I am going to get another few bags on weekend. I am all ready for this dish from now onward.

Was with her at Asian grocery last Sat and she point to the Asam sauce display with her 5 stars hotel chef look => This one good. You can cook it yourself at home. The rest are history now !

Uncle. Next round u should put in some of your favorite vegi
besides fish, u can use this paste to cook sotong n prawns too or cook all in one time...hehehe
