Chinta Blues – Another Malaysian Restaurant

This is Chinta Blues (the guy said this name suppose to be Cinta but hard for locals to pronounce if they name it without “h”)

I known it is operated by Bolehland guys because they proudly displayed “Malaysia Hawker” next to the door.

I passing by this restaurant most of the days because it located in my working route. Reluctant to get in for a meal until this afternoon because I expected it to be higher price than other place due to the setting.

Scanned the Menu, all Boleh foods. Good. Lets order the noodle I craving for => Fried Hokkien Mee and this was my plate of noodle after 15mins wait smile_teeth

Presentation : Good     Noodle  Smell  : Got

Seafood  :big fresh prawns

2 things that made my Fried Hokkien Noodle not so turn on was the colour… not dark enough. The cooked told me no choice as the black sauce here not dark enough.

Also, as usual…. no pork fat… grrrrrrrrr   smile_baringteeth

However, the side plate of these fresh chilli managed to balance up my expectation

Not bad for a lunch…. I can’t remember when was the last time I had a good mee…..

Oh ya… this restaurant is located at Acland Street, near to St Kilda Beach.

Nice cool set up….

One thing cute about their design is they display some of their cooking ingredients along the wall as decoration.

Of cause I buddy buddy with these guys. While I busy collection information about them, they also busy asking me why I come to this place… how I come… etc etc….

The biggest discovered I made was they related to Kotaraya Restaurant (I blog about this outlet not long ago) something like my uncle auntie son daughter kind of relationship !
