Live in the Ball

World Cup 2010 kick start on Friday. One of the event organised by the promoter was build a big soccer ball near Crown Casino beside Yarra River.

 
Nice big ball right ? Can see some guys peeping at the small window on the ball wall (to the right of above photo)
Want to guess how the promoter used this ball to grab public interest ?

Easy, they had a competition and a 23 yo diehard soccer fan was selected to live inside this ball for as long as the duration of World Cup festival, meaning 30 days.
This guy step into this ball on Friday afternoon. Each day he only allow 2 hrs to refresh himself outside the ball. The rest of the time he will spend on watch live football matches telecast from S. Africa.

Part of his task are to blog and Twitter and Facebook on those things happened during this tournament…
I took this photo around 8am and he still hiding in his bed which nicely cover up with cloth.
IS him really a lucky guy? TV TV and TV for 1month ? I will not take up such offer….. don’t like this type of isolation.
