About Crown Hotel and Casino – this premise just opposite my apartment (300 meters with Yarra River in between )… the one which display fire at night ! The casino is huge and the biggest in Melbourne.
I was in t-shirt and Bermuda just now but I tried my luck to walk thru the entrance…. I am too confidence that the stuffs at the checking point will stop me for age verification (so old liao but still thought myself have the 18yo look) and guess what… they NEVER stop me…. grrrrr… I am qualify to enter Casino without ID prove. Now I relaised the true fact => Stop acting like i am still the boyish look cute boy … sob sob…. such a sad fact !!!!!!
Overall, I spent about 15 mins walk walk along the uncountable jackpot machine (the machine with a stick to pull than the screen change change pic than the credit gone .. than after a few pulls won some credit)
My observation was kind of sad… mmmm….. 80% of the gambler from this pull pull machine is Ah Kong and Ah Ma… above 60yo and some even looked like they were just walked out from coffin.
Another wrong perception which I had toward this type of casino was the patron should be mainly Asian but what I saw just now was more Jane & Joe than Ah Pek & Ah Soh…. and I have this scary image of myself sat on the tall chair pull pull the stick when i am in their age…. ai yo… another 20yrs … not too long to wait… hehehehe
Oh ya… I also learn that most of them set their bet around 80 cents to $1 per pull……. and oh… the machine very naughty one… when the credit on the screen come to almost zero… than these guys will suddenly won some credit which made them shiok for a few second ….
I also discovered and confirm that whenever I stood behind some people… hehehe….. their credit will go zero very fast….. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh…
Lastly, I want to share with you one scenario that I like about this experience… that was once a while I can see the picture of a loving old couple sat next to each other lovingly to pull the stick… one of this Joe even have a style… he will brush the button 3 times before bet and the Jane just next to him .. company him…. so romantic !
